Trollie Dollies Managing Director Pauline Arnold was recently asked to appear on the show, The Greenhouse by BBC Three Counties Radio Presenter Gill Gauntlett. The show focuses on DIY, gardening, and cooking dilemmas every Saturday between 11am and 2pm. Pauline made Filo Pastry Parcels filled with Lentils, Spinach, & Cumin, a dish which went down a treat with Gill and her guest. The conversation flowed effortlessly as Pauline spoke about her career, where she started from and the journey through to where she is now, a successful business woman. Pauline spoke plainly and honestly to the audience about the importance of having good quality, low GI food in their everyday diet, a point which is usually missed out by some celebrity chefs. The interview was so successful that Gill has already invited Pauline back for a second instalment in the New Year…CAN’T WAIT!!
TROLLIE DOLLIES DOES IT AGAIN

We have built a very special relationship with Bournes Ltd in Bedford over the years, and our latest success was without comparison as this email from their office shows:
Dear Pauline and Co.,
Thank you again for a lovely lunch yesterday – as I said, some people thought it was the best one yet, and as our last three events have been catered by you and your crew, this must mean that you’re improving all the time! Lots of people told me that they particularly enjoyed the curried rice salad, and the giant prawns and coconut dip; one person told me she’d had a burger even though she doesn’t normally eat them, because they looked so lean and tasty, and the chocolate cake didn’t last long! There was also plenty of choice for vegetarians and vegans, including those lovely sweet potato kebabs and fresh fruit salad dessert – thank you for your thoughtful selection, preparation and distribution to ensure that everyone had the opportunity for choice.
With all best wishes,
Marion

June 2009 – Debbie and Stephen wrote to Trollie Dollies after the Christening of their daughter at Clophill Village Hall…
”We would like to extend a very big thank-you to you and your team for helping to make the Christening of our daughter so memorable and enjoyable. We found your approachability and advice prior to the event very supportive and the discussions to arrive at the final menu both mouth-watering and inspiring. So much so we felt very confident the food would be excellent, however, on the day you surpassed our expectations – it was imply beautiful and of the very highest standard. We received many compliments about the execellent presentation of the buffet table and the taste and quality of the food, ranging from ”delicious” to ”amazing tastes” and also including ” it all tasted so good I kept going back for more” (said many times over). We also received many compliments about the professionalism and helpfulness of your staff. It was wonderful to see such efficiency and team spirit gel together like a well oiled machine and importantly delivered in such a transparent manner that was non-intrusive but complimentary to the whole event. A quality presentation that we feel is very hard to come by and just perfect. A personal thank you to both yoyou and Ashley for orchastrating the day and ensuring we also enjoyed a delicious meal. We would not hesitate to recommend Trollie Dollies, your reputation is well justified.”

We were honoured to provide the delicious afternoon tea for the Mayor at his Civic Reception at Bedford Quarts Sprint Regatta on Sunday the 12th of July 2009. We have catered for him many times in the past, and he will be remembered with great affection by all the staff.
